US Cost of Living Rankings

These rankings sort all 387 US metro areas by their overall cost-of-living index, using the US Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) Regional Price Parities data. Each metro is scored against a national average set at 100: a metro above 100 is more expensive than average, and one below 100 is cheaper. Figures currently reflect 2024 data, the most recent year published by the BEA.
